Born within the borders of the lovely town called Stellenbosch.
Spend my Primary and High School Years on Idas Valley Primary and Lückhoff High School.
Was on Varsity at UWC.
Born in Stellenbosch in the beginning of the 80’s. In the heart of Apartheid, the time when you were judge simply on the color of your skin. Not on your intellectual abilities. Not even on your sporting abilities.
The only way you as an individual could have made it was by leaving the country, leaving love ones and family behind. If finances was an a problem during that time, you where stuck in Old South Africa.
